From a couple kids in High School to the Waterbury Republican

I
really have a hard time believing how far the Interact page actually
reached. Lets just say it reached a lot more people than I originally
thought it would. This page started as a way for me to complain
about how out of hand things were getting at PHS, and how poorly,
innaccurately, and maliciously we were being depicted in the news.
Then out of nowhere I get a phone call from the Republican-American
Newspaper in Waterbury, CT - one of the areas largest newspapers.
I was interviewed along with my good buddy Tom Brickley, and that
following weekend, bnapoli.com was featured in an article that made
the front page of the Republican-American's Sunday Issue. Websites
today get millions and millions of hits per year, but in bnapoli.com's
few years on the web it still managed to pull off just over 60,000
hits - and even if I was in 20 newspapers, this was still the most
amazing feat to me. All of that is thanks to you, the viewers. For
some reason people came back, I don't know if they will again but
hey, it'll be here if you do.
Welcome
to the new concept for interacting with the community. In the past,
the interact page was a page with a simple comment box where people
could type anything they wanted me to read, and send it directly to
my email address. Over the past 6 months, this tool has been used
more frequently by viewers of the site, friends and supporters. In
the recent aftermath of the Republican-American news article talking
about our school, I've decided to create a section of my site where
you can say what you want. I'm going to begin the new concept for
the interact page by posting my own response to the situation at our
school, and accept any essays or comments from viewers to be posted
alongside my opinions. Simply write about something you feel people
would want to talk about, submit it through the form below or email
it to brett@bnapoli.com - and pending appropriateness, I'll post it
on the site. If this idea doesn't catch on, I'll simply post my own
opinions.. if the idea catches and everyone decides to put in their
two cents, this could be the start of something interesting and some
real knowledge at work.
